Someone
I'm certain to be in the minority here...but I love reading FF magazines. Though the bulk of my research and draft planning are performed at a couple websites, the magazines still get me. I'm always in for picking up FFI, Fanball, FootballGuys, Rotowire, Rotoworld and FantasyGuru. Call me crazy but I enjoy picking one up when I'm out on the deck, on vacation, etc. I'm with you on this. I always get FFI and may get either FantasyGuru or Rotoworld. I realize some of the info will get outdated, so that is why I subscribe to a website. But some of the better mags can provide some good insights. chaz13
The book I've bought every year since 1994 is just called "Fantasy League Football 2008". In our league it was always referred to as the "Fantasy Bible". Before websites became popular and before mags had IDP this was the only mag to buy. We have had IDP since 1994 and this was the only mag that had IDP rankings. AP is featured on the cover this year. I have found this to be one of the best fantasy sources year in and year out including websites. I know that is hard to believe but after 15 years I still buy it and look forward to it every year. In fact I use this for rankings at the draft instead of online ones. I also create my own rankings after looking at a variety of sources. It's published by Harris publications if anyone is interested.
BeeR
Can't speak for other years, but last year's version of FLF frankly stunk. I don't think they even covered IDP.
Clubfoothead
I have not bought a magazine since I joined the huddle. I had one in my hand in the airport news store the other day, but I felt shameful and just put it back. I may have to check out FFI since it is getting so many good reviews. How do they keep it from being outdated? Their cheatsheet is updated if I'm recalling correctly. You go to their website and they will tell you to go to page so and so and type in the 27th word of paragraph 8 for the free update.

It must be a different magazine we are talking about because the one I'm referring to always has IDP. On the front it just says "Fantasy Football". If you go to the editor's page it says "Fantasy League Football 2008". The editor is Scott Gramling. I always wondered why they didn't have a more specific name for the mag instead of just saying fantasy football on the cover. I know a few years ago they had a deal w/ sports grumblings and you could order the mag online through their site. I don't know if you could still do that. I can confirm this for anyone who might be wondering or care.
