femmefootball
"Steve Reed, of CarolinaGrowl.com, reports Carolina Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams is expected to start Week 2 and get the majority of the carries in the game." I plan to start Peterson and Forte, but my 3rd starter was Kevin Smith. Do you think this is the week to start Williams over Smith, with this new info? Please vote!!! watchurdaughters
DeAngelo is a sore subject for me...only because I drafted Stewart and then DeAngelo was stolen from me by the team drafting right in front of me....DOH! I'd start DeAngelo over KSmith here...
giantsfan
I like Williams as well. Don't fully trust the Detroit running game and team as a whole.
Bree22
I would noramlly say to start Williams but going against Chi I say go with Smith if you are in a PPR league. If not then go with Williams. Smith will get nost of his points (yds ) in the passing game thsi week.
Tboogs
I'd go Williams... do they even try to run the ball in GB?
chodan
the safer pick would be williams considering that detroit will most likely be playing catchup and passing more often than not but smith does have some value in a ppr league

Futbol Head
I thought last year the DET running game walked all over GB def. However I too have Williams but not Smith so it's a crap shoot. A tough CHI def and stats from last year. CHI stuffed Addai. Will they stuff Williams.
Gunga Din
I'd go Smith. Avoid running vs the Bears.
femmefootball
Well, it's good to know I'm not crazy for being undecided about this The worst part is I think it might make/break my week... the matchup looks close, but I'll need a good effort from all my players, and if I pick the wrong one and he gets stuffed... *sigh* why can't FF ever be easy?? Very tough call this week and I have the same decision to make as I have both players. At the moment, I'd narrowly go with Smith.
Medal of Honor
I'm going for Smith. Chicago is a crappy matchup for any running back, especially the mediocre Williams. JetFanMike
I normally would prefer Smith, but I'd start Williams here. The Lions will throw more than pass, and the Packers are a tough team to run against. Williams got most of the Panthers carries last week, I'd expect the same again -- and based on last week, the Bears will be tough to throw against; so Carolina will want to run.
