detlef
So, having purchased a new iMac, we're looking to use my sort of new Samsung Monitor as something my wife can plug her work lap top into when she needs to work from home. It's really, really blurry. I tried to go into the control panel but could not find something like what I found on the Mac that sort of auto-calibrates. How does one clean up the display on a PC? AtomicCEO
Blur is not a setting I'm aware of. Have you tried using a different resolution and refresh frequency? Do you know which resolutions and frequencies your monitor optimally supports?

Do you know which resolutions and frequencies your monitor optimally supports? I think atmoic is in the right area: your refresh rate might be set to 50MHz, and most pmacs prefer 60. Check that out. Calibration is more for color and brightness. What you're describing is a more or less static setting that you establish BEFORE you calibrate for color. Chief Dick
Hit the side of it a couple of times. Worked great on my old RCA tv.
