I don't want to hear the argument that they still had plays to stop them so you can't blame the refs. The Lions did what THEY had to do to win the game and the refs are trying to take that away from them. Â I heard that Goodell gave the refs a pep talk this week. I guess that did not work. Â The one down the sidelines, where he barely touched him. The same one where the announcers were dumbfounded, as were, every poster on the Huddle immediately afterwards. Yes, that one. Â However, using the official as an excuse is extremely weak. The official obviously saw something to make that call, and I don't believe that they had any personal interest in who won the game. Â Maybe you saw something that no else didn't. I'm not saying you were wrong, but, from what I saw, that was the weakest P.I. I've EVER seen. The announcers were flabbergasted during the replay, as it looked like he barely brushed against his back and was playing the ball. Also, AlexGaddis & Mysto were joking on that other thread, so, they also thought they got away with one. No biggie, I'm certainly not going to argue a call. I don't do it during Steelers games, and I'm sure as hell not going to do it in regards to a game that I could care less about.
