BTW How is that plumbing job coming along? I got the handle off and been scratching my head like I have a bad case of lice I took off the cover for the tub that the water comes out in the other bathroom and the pipe twisted ( which I thought it was getting looser ) and broke off. I really suck in the plumbing business. But I did upgrade my thermostat to the one I can program
Chief Dick
Must be one year AND a certain weight. I believe over 22 pounds. Both conditions must apply. Edited October 25, 2008 by Chief Dick

AtomicCEO
It is 1 year and 20 lbs. and CD is right, both conditions need to be met. This is true... but my kid outgrew his rear-facing seat a month early, and nobody ever carded him.
Azazello1313
it is best to keep them rear-facing as long as it's practical to do so. through the crash test dummy tests and it will be pretty obvious why. most convertibles can keep them rear-facing up through 30 lbs or better. 1 yr + 20 lbs is an absolute minimum, but, speaking for my wife and I, we will not be rushing to turn her around the moment she hits those two milestones. I got advice from a compliance officer at Graco who said the same thing. Keep them facing backwards until they are too big to sit that way. Brentastic
Bump - this is such a great thread for the video posted by Azz. Being a father of a 6 month old, I thought I'd bump this for all the other new parents who haven't seen it.
