Sunday Couch Potatoe
I'm doing the exact same thing this week. I'm 9-1 and have Cooley on a bye and am not dropping any of my players to pick up some scrub TE. Would you drop any of these guys? QB - McNabb, Campbell RB - AP/Chester, LT/Sproles, MJD, Rice, Torain WR - Wayne, R Moss, Colston, Royal, Moore, Reggie Brown TE - Cooley How are u 9-1 in the beginning of week 10? Are u already locking a win up this week
Whiskey Pimp
How are u 9-1 in the beginning of week 10? Are u already locking a win up this week We have 1 week as a double header. 3 divisions of 4 teams so you play each team in your div twice plus the other 8 teams once needing 14 games. Playoffs weeks 14-16.
satelliteoflovegm
I guess I can drop Torain now and pick up a TE in place of Cooley for this week. I started Andre Johnson when he was out last year because I wasn't going to cut a good player for one week. I won that game and the league title. Not to hi-jack the thread but can you drop Torain? Isn't he locked in as a starter or at least bench points which may include tie-breakers. I am in the same boat and asked the Commish to IR him but will understand if he says no. He was a bench player for me this week. I commish a league where he was started and he can't drop or IR him because that would be an illegal line-up and be zero points. McBoog
I'd have dropped Sammy Morris in a heartbeat for a serviceable TE. +1 The guy is arrogant! We had rules in place that made the roster illegal for starting a player on his bye week or if he was listed as "out" on the early report. This forced people to make moves. An illegal roster violation was a forfeit for the week.

However, I decided not to drop him to pick up a backup TE to play and was the highest scoring team for the week even without a TE.
