isleseeya
very deserving in my opinion Edited January 6, 2009 by isleseeya
myhousekey
Definitely well deserved (especially with the # of games the skill players around him missed this season). Sure beats having Aaron Brooks at QB. Edited January 6, 2009 by myhousekey

tonorator
so peyton wins MVP and he's an offensive player, yet he doesn't win offensive player of the year. interesting. did peyton happen to jump over and play some cornerback as well this year? I have a dream. A dream that someday people will actually realize the difference between "most valuable" and "most impressive". The Saints weren't a playoff team with Brees, so it's hard to say how much worse they'd be without. My guess, substantially, but you simply can't make a guy MVP if he didn't lead his team to the playoffs. However, he did put up outrageous numbers, so is a fine choice for OPY Edited January 6, 2009 by detlef

The Yakuza
Well deserved indeed. Of course I am a little biased since he helped lead me to my championship but even so I think he deserves the honor.

myhousekey
so except for 1 win in '06...not really. I tend to look at it like this.... It took the Saints franchise 21 seasons to finally have a winning season (1987 12-3) Drew Brees did it in his first year with the team. That's gotta be worth something.
