Seahawks21
I must admit, I'm kind of a sucker for any movie Johnny Depp does. Christian Bale is usually pretty good too. Has anybody seen this yet? Is it worth seeing in the theatre?
detlef
I saw it with the wife. Not bummed, but not really impressed either.
tonorator
no desire to see this. i was disappointed to hear that they didn't even play up the angle that john d was a folk hero because everyone was against the banks at the time. maybe i'll catch it on cable. Square
I'll probably rent it. Johnny Depp and Christian Bale w/ guns... Can't be too bad.

I'm a fan of both Depp and Bale, but this turned me off too. IIRC, Dillinger didn't even kill anyone until very late in his robbery career. godtomsatan
I admit I had a really huge dinner before going to see it on Friday night, and had imbibed with some narcotic effect producing material not too long before going into the theater, but for the first time in as many ages as I can remember, I fell asleep.
