jaxfactor
This is no laughing matter. One could possibly become terminally ill or even die from this. Hence the saying, "eat sh*t and die".
AtomicCEO
the White House lawn, where the garden was planted, contains highly elevated levels of lead -- 93 parts per million.... however, it's below the 400 ppm the EPA suggests is a threat to human health. What caused this alarming contamination of the White House lawn? Why is less than 1/4 of a dangerous dose alarming? According to what I could find, 40 ppm is not an atypical level of lead in soil, and it can go into the thousands. 93 doesn't seem to be a problem. But, I suppose the Obama's could switch to a non-food crop to be safe. I think it would send a good message to the American farming community if the entire Obama family went out to harvest the cotton at the end of the season.
