Bronco Billy
I saw he started at the Jack. He gets 1 freakin' assist? Did he get hurt during the game, does he just suck badly, or are his stats being attributed to Ray Lewis (who acquires tackles if he even looks at a pile from within 10 yds)? I think he was hurting during the game. Thought I read it somewhere - sorry no link. I wasn't happy with his stats line anyway. It could also be he wasn't in for all 3 downs. I'm not sure. keggerz
Zia and I talked about it on AIM and he found something that said he was hurt and spent time on a stationary bike but supposedly will be good to go for this week....if I see anything with regards to the injury I will let you know
Caveman_Nick
He was quoted in the Baltimore Sun. Essentially the game was well in hand, and though he could maybe have played they thought it was better for him to rest the injury.
Ziachild007
Zia and I talked about it on AIM and he found something that said he was hurt and spent time on a stationary bike but supposedly will be good to go for this week....if I see anything with regards to the injury I will let you know Injury reportLinebacker Tavares Gooden said initial tests show that he sprained his right knee and did not tear any ligaments. Gooden said someone rolled onto his knee while blocking on a kick return midway through the third quarter. X-rays were negative, and he rode a stationary bike on the sideline in an effort to keep the knee loose for a possible return. "I was trying to go back out and play, but we saw that we pretty much had the game wrapped up and felt like we could win. So we decided to get me back right," Gooden said, adding that he intends to play next Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. "I'm good. I was trying to play again, so we know I can play." Bronco Billy
Well thank gawd. I really needed that one LB who could give me one assist and nothing else every 2+ quarters of play...
