But when the system is so cumbersome to even break in to and you have Candidate X, Y, or Z, and they are all basically the same crooks, how on earth do you fix that? Sadly, politicians are getting elected by giving the unwashed masses exactly what they want. You really can't blame politicians for sizing up the nation and then acting accordingly. The average American is good at making bad decisions and its no surprise they want to vote for people just like themselves. Seriously, try to run on a platform and true fiscal conservatism and see how many votes you get. Try to avoid taking a position on abortion and see what happens.
