Ursa Majoris
Here comes the resident Pittsburgh apologist. Menudo, you gotta admit the law of averages seems not to apply to the Steelers. Edited October 18, 2009 by Ursa Majoris
Skippy
I was thinking the same thing until the replay. Then I figured that it had to be camera angle. If they were rigging the game, I think they could have let Ward have the TD that he really did catch.
Menudo
Yes, it is the one and only reason for their success. As for the 4th down call, I'll wait for an explanation. The stupid TV crew pulled the cameras away after they moved the chains the first time. They stayed gathered around the ball and chains for a while, and the cameras stayed panned away and then on the Browns defensive coach. I'd like to hear an explanation as well, because the first stretch of the chain definitely appeared short. On another note, the Steelers are officially a team that uses the pass to setup the run now. They realize that their most potent weapons on offense are in the passing game, and I'm happy to see them stop being so stubborn and sticking to the run. Don't get me wrong, they have to be able to run the ball, but, you can't keep your best offensive weapons penned in.

Someone in that organization has sold their soul to the devil, the amount of good fortune that franchise has had over the last several years is astounding. It is sad that some of these guys hang their existence in hating the most successful franchise in NFL history. The Steelers had nothing to do with that call. Maybe some day these poor saps will have a team of their very own to cry about.
