darin3
Any news as to WHY? Is this a ploy to just get Brown to play better (not that he's been terribly bad)? Weird.

Weird. evidently had something to do with how poorly CC was playing the long ball...will try to find the link later
keggerz
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football...mote_brown.html Tom Coughlin said the move was made "to try to maneuver around a little bit and defend the deep ball better." typhus
This is WRONG info. CC is back in, and Ross is out with a hammy.
Zooty
This is WRONG info.CC is back in, and Ross is out with a hammy. Ross is a CB, Brown and Rouse are the safeties (Rotoworld) Coach Tom Coughlin confirmed on Friday that Aaron Rouse will start at free safety in place of the struggling C.C. Brown. Analysis: Brown has struggled mightily with the deep ball and was constantly biting on play action. The Giants' front seven needs to get more pressure to help out the weak secondary, as Rouse is also a liability in coverage. Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd are still good plays for the Chargers in Week 9. (KFFL) New York Giants CB Aaron Ross (hamstring) did not practice Friday, Nov. 6, and will not play in Week 9..
