MrTed46
Is anyone trading people like Wayne and Manning if you are locked into the playoffs? I read in the main page and that is what is advised but I am scared to trade away these players. What are your thoughts?
Caveman_Nick
My thoughts are that any league worth being in had already had a trade deadline
King Tut
Not sure how much value they have, most smart fantasy players are aware that they won't be playing much. I would target a team that is in a must win situation this last regular season fantasy week. I noticed in my league all of the Colts reserves are being snatched up, Collie, Garcon, Simpson, the back up TE's.
MrTed46
My thoughts are that any league worth being in had already had a trade deadline Why is this? I am in a league where the top 6 teams playoff for big money and then the bottom 6 teams playoff for 1/2 their money back. Why have a trade deadline or WW deadline. I never understood this. I can understand if the bottom 6 teams have nothing to play for then they shouldnt be allowed to make trade but I still dont like that. They payed like everyone else. In a league WORTH being in, trade deadline should not matter since there is no collusion and everyone does what is in their best interest. Exactly, I was going to target a team that MUST win this week but I am not getting something great in return if I do so (something like TO). I am reading articles that scares me, if Wayne sits, I am screwed as I have no depth due to injuries and busts.

If it's a keeper, dynasty, or "consolation" awards then not having a trade deadline makes sense. If half the league is playing meaningless games it can help prevent collusion or a team just dumping their team, even if it's not explicitly helping a particular team directly. Double D
This is also why Fantasy Football Championships should be week 15 the latest and not week 16 (and definitely not week 17). This year is different though because the Colts are clinching home field advantage pretty early.
MrTed46
Regardless of deadlines, as we can save that for another topic. IF you can trade them would you?
lennykravitz2004
Regardless of deadlines, as we can save that for another topic. IF you can trade them would you? I traded for Peyton a couple of weeks ago. WCS has them losing a game before the end of Reg Season. I would think they would try to go perfect if still undefeated. Yeah, I know they still have the previous perfect reg season fresh in their minds, but to sit players on a potentially historic run... IDK. IMHO, their playing will be dictated if they do indeed lose a game before then. BTW, our league has championship in week 17. We all scramble for players/reserves as benches start to empty. It's actually pretty fun for all of us in our league. GL to everybody this week.

Chadman
I'm concerned, as my RB depth is not good now, and Addai has been getting me enough points to keep winning games. I doubt Addai will get as many chances as he has been, and I'm thinking about Simpson as a pickup. Also, any news at all to signal that Gonzalez might be returning for the playoff run? If he is, I'd think they'd want to get him in the lineup the last part of the season, which would also rest the starters. Thoughts?
