Zooty
I've complained about that all year. Besides I doubt serious fantasy players are 90% non-IDP. I'd like to see what the percentage is in MFL. MFL will have a higher percent because it supports full IDP. I would bet that a majority of the "casual" FF players use Yahoo, ESPN, NFL.com, etc and these numbers are probably very low.
Randall
maybe I can talk DMD/WW into putting a small little button at the top of the page that links to the IDP content that is MUCH lower on the home page. I am still working on my IDP tackle predictions program and with any luck it will be ready to go for the start of next year too I'd like to see a mixture of IDP with the standard predictions and articles. I never thought I'd like defensive players and strategy as much as I do and having something there could get others interested too.

I would bet that a majority of the "casual" FF players use Yahoo, ESPN, NFL.com, etc and these numbers are probably very low. MFL had about 13% of leagues using IDP in 2008 (he has not crunched numbers this year). That includes leagues that use just one IDP player up to full dynasty rosters. It also does not show how many of those leagues have the same team owner across several leagues, so it does not mean there are 13% of people doing IDP neccessarily. When you factor in the leagues at Yahoo, ESPN, NFL.com, etc then you are talking only a few percentage points of IDP'ers compared to the total universe. Like all premium sites, we attract more serious players generally speaking.
Ziachild007
Just in case you haven't been to the Find a League forum in a while Yeah, I know, wrong forum.
BeeR
It seems to me that the IDPers I know seem to be a little more hardcore about their fantasy football. I for one found that I learned a ton more about the players themselves by doing the dynasty/IDP type leagues. There are a lot of folks on this board that are just as knowledgeable and passionate about football, yet don't get into the IDP. Just curious as to why. Is it more lack of time or just lack of interest? Both. Offense is plenty enough and the idea of keeping track of tackles makes FGs sound interesting. Skippy
I would be in IDP leagues if I had started with them five or so years ago but since then my life has gotten so busy that I am having a hard time keeping up with offensive players. I have had to bail on a few leagues because of this and I am just waiting for life to slow down a little.
