wiegie
For those of you who care about this sort of thing, perhaps it is worth noting these things on your calendars: 2017 Eclipse Path: http://xjubier.free.fr/en/site_pages/solar...gleMapFull.html 2024 Eclipse Path: http://xjubier.free.fr/en/site_pages/solar...gleMapFull.html (note: the paths shown are the one for the total eclipse--a partial eclipse will be visibly for very large paths outside of the narrow total eclipse paths) (also note: if you look an eclipse with your naked eyes, you could go blind)

TimC
Cool, I may have to make a trip to Bowling Green KY in both those years.
SEC=UGA
On a realted note, I took astronomy courses in college to fill my lab science credits. We would go out into a field with the professor, a 12 pack of beer and a carton of Marlboros and watch stuff until about 3 AM. I would highly recommend that you all tell your children that there is no better lab science course in college than astronomy.
