Grits and Shins
Moved my daughter into her college dorm Thursday. Friday was parent orientation type activities all day. Saturday, more parent orientation type activities. I must admit that I was pretty impressed with the staff, curriculum, students and over all culture at Austin College. It is definitely a full fledged liberal arts college with a focus on expanding the horizons of the mind. The house seems empty.
Hat Trick
That's a big step in unleashing your daughter to the world. You seem like a great, caring dad so she will do well in life. Glad to hear they all put your mind at ease. With time you will accept her being gone, just keep in touch as much as possible and stay active in her life and you will be fine. Furd
No more laser carved cryogenic tempered softball bats for her, I presume. :oldrazz:
rocknrobn26
Blitz, I did that in1996. YES...the house was empty. YES...I cried. YES...she cried when she came home for Xmas vacation! YES...it was all worth it! The best of luck to your daughter. I know you raised her right, but let her spread her wings and fly like an eagle! My best to you my friend! rr26
