Is Steven Jackson injured?

KFFL has the "groin / questionable" update now as well.

 

Updating a previous report, St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson (groin) has a groin injury and his return to the game is questionable, reports StLouisRams.com.

ST. LOUIS -- Rams running back Steven Jackson has left St. Louis' game against the Washington Redskins to have medical tests after injuring his groin.The team says his return was questionable.

 

Jackson was hurt on a 2-yard carry to the Washington 40 with 4:02 to go in the second quarter Sunday, getting his body twisted by a number of tacklers. The ball came loose at the end of the play and was initially ruled a fumble, but the Rams won an appeal.Jackson was down for several minutes while the play was being reviewed. He received treatment on the sideline before walking to the locker room.

FWIW, the story said he left to have medical tests. I can tell you that he not only stayed, he was on the sideline the rest of the game in full pads. He never came back in, but he was joking around and walking without a limp. Probably scans tomorrow, but he didn't look too concerned during the rest of the game.
