ts
LOL - I just saw the replay ... what does the defense do on a hail mary? KNOCK IT DOWN! ... oops. Knew I snagged Garrard off the WW for a good reason this week ... not how I planned it, but I'll take the points.
Whiskey Pimp
Incredible play! I'm not sure why we don't see more hail mary's these days, a lot of teams throw the little screen and hope to run and lateral their way down the field. Just chuck it up and see what happens. myhousekey
My first thought when I saw them line up for the play was, "great, am I about to get stuck with a garbage interception (-2) for Garrard". What a finish. Edited November 14, 2010 by myhousekey
DMD
That works literally about once every 100 times. And that was the once. Thomas barely caught it and you have to really, really credit his reaction time to what happened.

Lucky11
This announcer is one of the best. He loves his job. from Bill Simmons on ESPN.com "The Law of Gus Johnson is sweeping the nation: He's called four straight weeks of games that were genuinely exciting (Jets-Lions, Bills-Chiefs, Bengals-Falcons, Chiefs-Texans) and this battle between two David Lee teams (all offense, no defense) looks like No. 5. I keep mentioning the Law of Gus without ever really defining it, so let's do it right now. If Gus Johnson is calling an NFL game, the odds quintuple that (A) the lead will change hands in the fourth quarter; ( someone will complete a long pass in a big moment that will make Gus' voice hit an octave only dogs can hear; and © the game will go into overtime or at least come damned close. It seems impossible that the mere presence of an announcer would alter the course of the game, but here's my theory: I think God sits in his Man Cave on Sundays and says, "Which game is that Gus Johnson calling? I get a kick out of that guy. I think I'll make his game exciting and see if he completely loses his mind.'" Gus Johnson is the best! redrumjuice
According to the Elias Sports Bureau, it marked the fourth time in NFL history that a regular season game ended with a go-ahead touchdown reception of 50 or more yards with no time left in regulation, and it's the first time that a home team got to celebrate such an occurrence. Tastes Like More
That play was awesome! The best was watching Thomas' reaction to catching the ball. It looked like he was going to take a knee at the 1 yard-line.
CurlyDumps
Thomas was one of my sleeper/fill-ins this week. (w/ Floyd and Driver both on bye...and injured) What sized gift basket should I send to the guy who beat me to Sims-Walker earlier in the week?
