keggerz Posted November 24, 2010 Share Posted November 24, 2010 (edited) Best is surprisingly listed as PROBABLE for the Thanksgiving Day game vs the Patriots Best didn't practice on Monday and it sounded like he was going to need to sit this week but then he was able to practice in a limited fashion on Tuesday and Wednesday. From what I have read you shouldn't expect Best to shoulder the load but there will be packages that he gets used in. He has been an almost non-factor for a few weeks now. The Lions arent going anywhere this year so I just dont see the point of them running him out there when its obvious he is hurting. bdub1988 Posted November 25, 2010 Share Posted November 25, 2010 I dropped Best last week...hasn't had a good game since week 2 or 3, and they apparently refuse to let him sit out and actually recover from his turf toe injury. They just keep running him on it, which is only making things worse and dropping his production lower and lower.
