matt770
finally a name I wanted to hear: mitch daniels Quite an about-face if he does decide to run. He was pretty emphatic about not running for pres. I know nothing about him, but after watching the above clip, my first concern is . But if the jell-o brained middle-America nimrods can listen long enough, he seems like a solid character and plenty competent. I already like him better than the others. Okay, so this bold and truthful assertion will get him about 6, maybe 7 votes. How about the other 30 million?

untateve
Okay, so this bold and truthful assertion will get him about 6, maybe 7 votes. How about the other 30 million? I don't expect the candidate that who talks seriously, and specifically, about the the natl debt and the need to include defense, medicaid/medicare, and social security in the budget conversation to win--I just figure that if a candidate does, it could be a first step toward addressing these issues by putting a spotlight on them. Of course, the reality is that when other candidates see that talking about real issues doesn't get one elected, they all run even further away from them.
