Azazello1313
This week administrators at Big Bear High School in San Bernardino County, California, ordered a yearbook recall while police threatened students with jail if they failed to turn in their copies. The defect that prompted the recall is a photo from a school dance in which two students can be seen messing around in the background. According to A.P., the picture "shows a 17-year-old boy's hand inside the clothing of a 15-year-old girl in a way that suggests sexual penetration." The discovery of this background action (which seems to have been captured unintentionally) rendered the entire yearbook run contraband under California's child pornography law. Hence school officials are taking all the yearbooks back and correcting the problem by "covering the suspect photo with another page or another photograph." A.P. adds that "detectives were contacting students who haven't turned in yearbooks with a warning they could face a charge of possessing child porn," which under state law is punishable by up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine. Hugh 0ne
Yeah, I saw that earlier. Theatening kids that don't return the yearbook with possessing child porn seems a bit excessive for a photo that was taken by accident. And based on the description of the photo, it "suggests" something inaproppriate, doesn't clearly show it. I just think they're blowing this out of proportion, but that's JMHO. Yep ,,, sometimes I read a story like this and just have to shake my head ,,, it reminds me of a joke about a girl who yells very loud " No one turn around now because I'm going to change my clothes " If she never yelled , no one would of looked and no one would of noticed !! Same here ,,,, if no one yelled most wouldn't of even noticed ,,, why make such a big deal out of it ?? Offer to allow those who are offended to return their year book for a new copy with the picture removed free of charge but to go over the top and threaten to put a Child Porn rap permanently on someones record ,, someone that had absolutely nothing to do with the situation except happened to attend the same school the same year is ridicules in MHO
muck
In one of my HS yearbooks, there is a huge picture of a girl on the drill team kicking her leg way high over her head leaving nothing to the imagination. I wonder if I'm guilty of something?
Savage Beatings
No doubt the parents of the 15 year old girl are leading the charge here, and who could blame them. But I also agree that charging kids with possession of child pornography is a bit much. Why have we lost the ability to use reason when it comes to crap like this? Little kids can't point their finger and make a bang sound any more because that violates a no-tolerance gun policy. Little old ladies get finger banged at the airport because we can't focus on young Muslim men for some reason. Drives me nuts!

Delicious_bass
In one of my HS yearbooks, there is a huge picture of a girl on the drill team kicking her leg way high over her head leaving nothing to the imagination. I wonder if I'm guilty of something? I went to a private, Catholic high school. We had to wear uniforms and that meant skirts for the girls. In the yearbook my freshman year, there is a pic of a group of seniors sitting on the bleechers in the gym. In the pic, you can see straight up the skirt of one of the hottest chicks in that class. There was no mistaking the bright white panties at the end of tan legs under a navy blue skirt. The sly little smile on her face almost makes you think she knew exactly what she was doing, too. Or, at least, that's what I liked to believe when I looked at that pic over and over and over...
matt770
Brings me back to my 8th grade dances and the action under the bleachers. It was like a scene from Caligula down there.
