ESPN and plenty of others really botched this one.

Pacquiao is getting freaking hosed right now. I see on Facebook where someone posts the link to ESPN where they discuss the implications of him basically saying "gays should be killed".

Turns out, he was just saying the bible says they shouldn't marry and the reporter who allegedly posted the article in The National Conservative Examiner, which apparently doesn't exist, was the one who actually referenced the verse from Leviticus that talks about killing men who lay with one another. The reporter? Here's a breakdown on his credentials.

The "freelance writer" who scored the interview with Pacquiao, among the world's top celebrities, is listed as Granville Ambong, an "accredited deadline/lead writer for Maharlikan Times and the famous Philboxing.com." The latter is up and running. The former, like the "National Conservative Examiner," does not appear to exist.

Needless to say I am not a fan of Pacquiao's opinion anyway, but you've got to be careful about sticking that statement on a guy.

what a bag of dicks (the guy who wrote the story who misquoted him, and EPSN and others for running with the story without checking into it).

Too many bloggers and fake reporters out there.

My answer to everybody would be "F you, no comment"
