HighKite
HK, Which WR would you start this week (pick one, Standard League): Fitz vs. SF Crabtree at AZ James Jones at NE Steve Smith at CLE Thanks in advance! I would go Steve Smith.Crabtree and Fitz got tough 1's.
HighKite
Hello again, Thanks for the advice! Team is listed in my signature... Do you think it is worth dropping anyone for Justin Hunter, Andrew Hawkins, or Cecil Shorts? I'm a little weak at WR and I have to start 3 each week. Someone also just dropped Ingram and Mathews. Should I stash both Ingram and drop Hill and Hart?!? Thanks again! Unless you are willing to part with Gordon I do not see anyone you can cut for those guys. HighKite
Would like your advice. I'd like to drop Markus Wheaton to temperarily pick up Donald Brown. I could use the points for now. I'm in a 10 team standard league. My current WR's-- Alshon Jeffrey, Larry Fitzgerald, and Michael Crabtree with Steve Smith, Golden Tate and Markus Wheaton on my beach. I'd like to DROP Wheaton FOR Donald Brown to play in my Flex position. My RB's are Reggie Bush, Frank Gore and picked up Asiata. I would probably bench Reggie Bush and use Frank Gore and Donald Brown and move Asiata to my Flex spot. Suggestions? I would appreciate any insight! I can understand wanting to pick Brown up and drop Wheaton (although I would not) but there is no way I would play Brown over Bush. I would not even play him over Tate, Steve Smith or Wheaton. I would have Bush and Steve Smith as my FLEX's. Brown would be good insurance in case he does good though for the bench.

HighKite
RB question. On my roster I have Steven Jackson, Doug Martin, and Chris Ivory (Also have Arian Foster and G. Bernard, so they're not going anywhere). My questions is that Bobby Rainey, Asiata, and Kniles Davis are available. Would you drop any of the RBs I have now (I'm not very keen on Steven Jackson) and who would you pick up? Davis, and do it now. I would cut Asiata myself but Jackson or Rainey would work too. Then after that know he is your best fantasy back until Charles is back.
HighKite
Pick one TE for week 3: Travis Kelce vs. MIA Larry Donnell vs. HOU Niles Paul vs. PIT NON PPR Funny you put these 3 as I have them as the 8th,9th and 10th best TE's for this week. I have Donnell 8th, Kelce 9th and Paul 10th.
HighKite
Thanks in advance. Here is one about flex choices for week 3. In a Yahoo ppr league normal scoring - There is one flex position, WR/RB/TE. I don't have much receiver depth after my starters. Next up are Brian Hartline and Malcom Floyd. Mohamed Sanu is about the best on the wire. At RB I am starting Joique Bell and Stevan Ridley; and my bench has Fred Jackson, Pierre Thomas, and Khiry Robinson. My back-up TE is Travis Kelce; Larry Donnell is still available on the wire. Broadly this is a question about the NOS duo - will Ingram's absence be more or less exactly filled by Robinson, or does this give Thomas a chance for more touches? I am an FJax fan as well. And if Larry Donnell keeps playing at the level of his first two weeks, he is in the conversation as well. Thoughts? I think the Ingram injury makes Pierre Thomas a RB2. many feel Robinson will do what Ingram was, I am not 1 of those people. As far as TE goes you don't want to use 1 at FLEX so unless you are gonna use the TE you pick up at TE there is no reason to think about them. I would start Joique Bell and Pierre Thomas as my RB's this week. I would probably use Fred Jackson as my FLEX. You must have some players hurting with this team. HighKite
Pick 1 to play as my WR2: Floyd vs. SF with Stanton at QB Cruz vs. HOU Benjamin vs. PIT And are any of these also worth starting at FLEX over Knile Davis? Hardly anyone in fantasy football is capable of starting over Niles right now. he is a must start until Charles comes back. At WR 2 I would go with Benjamin. I think he is a solid WR2 this week. HighKite
Hello Highkite, Your advice has rocked so far, and not that I'm keeping track or anything your batting 1000% right now. Anyway, I'm looking at week 3 now, and its going to be a tough week based on match ups. This is a 10 man standard league setup. This is what I'm thinking of having as my actives: Qb: Aaron Rodgers (@ Detroit) RB1: Montee Ball (@ Seattle) RB2: Rashad Jennings (Houston) WR1: Antonio Brown (@ Carolina) WR2: Emmanual Sanders (@ Seattle) TE: Rob Gronkowski (Oakland) FLEX: Joique Bell (Green Bay) D: Panthers (Detroit) K: Steve Hauschka (Dever) And the Bench: WR: Pierre Garcon (@ Philly) WR: Kendall Wright (@ Cincinnati) RB: Terrance West (Baltimore) RB: Pierre Thomas (Minnesota) TE: Larry Donnell (Houston) Obviously I’m concerned with Ball and Sanders playing Seattle in Seattle, but I have little better options. It further sucks that your defense is playing your star WR. We know Garcon didn’t see any good targets last week, but his Philly match up isn’t horrible and I'd imagine they would want to get him the ball more. I personally do not like Wrights match up in Cincinnati. Anyway, I wanted to run this by you and see how you would manage this week given some difficult/awkward matchups. As far as pickups go I can only snag RBs due to WR caps, an possible immediate add drop options include Bobby Rainey, Justin Forsett, Shonn Greene, Carlos Hyde. If Martin is out for Tampa Bay again, I almost like the idea of picking up Rainey and looking at him for the flex spot. I would do everything you are doing except I would start West over Joique Bell. I think West has a fine week. You got each position backed up well so none of those other waiver moves would really make sense.
HighKite
Standard league, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, QB, DST AP's owner offered Kendall Wright for Asiata. Not keen on Asiata as there isn't much upside, but he will be solid low RB2/3 numbers. Wright would only see the light of day on bye week (10), unless he dramatically improves... Any thoughts on a counter? My Roster RBs: Montee Ball Sproles Lamar Miller Asiata Reggie Bush Bobby Rainey WRs: Brandon Marshall Julian Edelman Andre Johnson Steve Smith Sr Allen Hurns His Roster RBs: Adrian Peterson Fred Jackson Jonathan Stewart Doug Martin Isaiah Crowell WRs: Randall Cobb Marques Colston James Jones Michael Floyd Kendall Wright Doug Baldwin Long term, does Hendricks overtake Asiata? How long is AP out? Is he done? Wright was a decent play last year, 94 catches, 1k yards but only 2 TD's... Thanks in advance! I would make this deal myself. 1st I would see if he would throw anything else in but I would make the deal as is . Wright is coming off a 94 catch year. Asiata just had about as good a matchup against the run as you can have and did nothing with it. I don't think Asiata keeps that job from McKinnon and at best it ends up a platoon situation. I think this is just a case of taking the guy with more talent. As far as AP I still believe he plays this year but we will see.
HighKite
I'm being offered brees, jamaal charles, and aj green for peyton manning and calvin johnson. My team: QB:peyton manning RB:Reggie Bush RB:Doug Martin WR:calvin johnson WR:Julian Edelman TE:Dennis pitta Dst:Bengals Flex:roddy white K:gotkowski Bench: Joique bell Bobby rainey Trent Richardson Markus wheaton Jeremy Maclin DeAndre Hopkins Kurt cousins Keep the guys who can play this week.although, it is tempting. HighKite
In a 18 team league where we only start 1 WR. Team A has Randle as their starting WR and Seattle, lost AP and is 0-2. Team B has Patterson, Sanders, Gordon, Floyd (AZ). We have no TE requirement and want Davis to perhaps flip for someone to perhaps get Harvin. Return yards are included. Thoughts about trading Carolina/Floyd for Seattle/V. Davis? I would want to be on the Carolina/Floyd side. a bad year by Floyd will be better than a good year by Davis. HighKite
Someone is offering me J. Charles - A. Ellington and V. Davis for J. Graham My 2 RB are R. Bush and C. Johnson Should i make this trade? My lineup currently qb.Brees rb1Bush rb2Johnson wr1Jeffery wr2 Garcon te Graham flex R. White def Panthers kickTucker with the trade qb Brees rb1 Charles rb2 Ellington wr1Jeffery wr2Garcon te Vernon flex Bush def Panthers kick Tucker should i make the treade? if you are 0-2 I am not sure I make it. if you are 1-1 I probably would and if you are 2-0 I definately would. You are getting over season long with this deal. but you have to wait for Charles. and Vernon Davis might not play this week and maybe not even next which means you have to have another TE on your roster. but if you can get in position and get all of those guys healthy your team is gonna be in beastmode. I need to see your bench to see if you can ride this out.
ffb
Thanks. If Davis was going to be flipped for Harvin, I guess the trade would essentially be Carolina/Floyd for Seattle/Harvin. Do think Harvin will be able to stay healthy at least untill week 12 when Gordon comes back? Return yards have the same value as receving yards in our league. HighKite
Thanks HighKite! Working on getting P.Harvin for a RB + TBD, so may not be starting P.Garcon at all... Hope that RB you are giving up is not Lacy or Davis.
HighKite
Does this starting lineup look good or should anything be switched. I'm also trying to trade for receivers right now but don't want to give away Sproles which everyone requests in a trade. My team: QB: Russell Wilson RB: Marshawn Lynch RB: Darren Sproles WR: Pierre Garcon WR: Marques Colston TE: Rob Gronkowski FLEX: Joique Bell D/ST: Patriots D K: Steven Hauschka BENCH: Larry Fitzgerald Wes Welker Mark Ingram Martellus Bennett James Jones Titans D/ST Lineup looks right. If you trade Sproles you won't have a 2nd back.
lazyme
Since Gordon is out the picture I would also drop James Jones for him. Great. Thanks for the suggestion! Watkins is on my team now. Greg Zuerlein is the current kicker on my team. Should I keep him or swap for free agents Shayne Graham/Nick Folk? Does my final line-up look right or do you suggest any changes? HighKite
Fitzgerald for Hawkins & P Thomas? would you do this trade? here is my current roster: Rb's J Bell/ K Davis/Matthews (injured) only allowed 3 rbs on the roster Wr's J Nelson/L Fitz /G Jennings /J Hunter only 4 allowed on the roster i would have to drop a rb if this deal goes through? who would you cut This is to close for me to call. whenever that happens to me I just stick with what I have. unles you have to start all 3 RB's? Ingram won't be out long or it would a automatic yes.
HighKite
Looking at my roster (in sig), who would you drop to grab Harry Douglas as a handcuff for Roddy? Thanks in advance! HighKite
Who would you start on flex between Wes Welker, Torrey Smith and Reggie Bush? I know the Broncos are playing the Seahawks but my opponent is starting Peyton Manning. I figured if I started Sanders and Welker that just puts the chances on my side. But is it really worth starting Welker over Torrey Smith and/or Reggie Bush? Thanks in advance! I would go Reggie Bush without thinking twice. he has a nice matchup and just has less downside. Torrey Smith to me is unusable right now. Steve Smith has taken that job and made him a afterthought. and I wanna see Welker play a game as lost in all this is how his last concussion came on such a easy hit. I worry for him. Do think Harvin will be able to stay healthy at least untill week 12 when Gordon comes back? Return yards have the same value as receving yards in our league. Who knows how long Harvin will stay healthy. he will produce while he is though. and those return yards help him quite a bit. I know I would rather be getting Seattle and Harvin than Carolina/Floyd in a league with scoring like this. Holding Gordon is hurting so many peoples flexibility for all these weeks hoping this dude can just walk in and put the stats up he did last year 10 weeks from now.
