Zooty
America, where you can buy all the guns you like, but not play daily fantasy or poker online. The land of the free indeed. priorities,,,,,,that's our government protecting us from ourselves. Except when we shoot each other Oh and feeding their own greed of state lotteries and casinos
BigD13
Just people posting on another forum. I think they are assuming it will be shut down soon Looks like Yahoo has pulled the plug in Florida. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/18/yahoo-pulls-plug-on-daily-fantasy-in-florida/
CowboysDiehard
Can't believe gun grabbers just showed up here...I avoid the tailgate forum for this very reason (politics). But, since you started it, I'll comment. I'm good with being able to buy all the guns I can...the government still won't let me buy the guns I LIKE though. If you don't like guns, or they scare you, don't buy them. Go hang out in a 'gun free' zone, like a college campus or a movie theater, so you can feel safe. As far as registering as out of state to play DFS, etc...I tried this for my cousin who lives in Baton Rouge. Didn't work. I seeded the account from CO, used my name and an email I created in CO, as well as my home address. I gave him the credentials to both the email and the Fanduel account, and it still knew he was trying to play from a state that bans the game. The only way to pull this off may be with the VPN, we didn't try that.
galawyer
Several states and the feds are looking into the legality of DFS. I expect more states will join Nevada and attempt to regulate them or shut them down. The representations made by the big DFS players on the legality of the business model are misleading, in my opinion. For that reason and a few others, we are looking into a potential lawsuit here in Georgia for people who have lost big $$ on DFS.

People buy lottery tickets and put their life savings on a roulette wheel. You can't stop it but you'll do everything in your power as a lawyer to get you your cut. Laughable. Did you get tired of chasing ambulances?
gilthorp
I own 29 different guns....and I can't wait to own my 30th, and my 31st, and my 32nd, and my 33rd, and my 34th....I need more guns. More Guns.....say it with me, more guns. Problems everywhere solved. What happened in Nevada this week will now ripple until it can be understood by taking it apart, and piecing it together with the proper internal controls and kick backs necessary to the _____________ (call it whatever you want). It is gambling and DFS is annoying. And we need more guns.
