That is the AFC South

Duh! It is, not sure what I was thinking....perhaps

Texas---the old NFL Texans from the 1950s that eventually became the Colts

Colts---original NFL team that got moved to AFC during merger

Titans---hmmm...an old AFL team? No match there

Jacksonville---lets say they were originally the Oorang Indians of the old NFL with Jim Thorpe as team captain

Ok this was dumb....

Titans - original name of the Jets.

Texans - Orignal name of the Chiefs when they were in Dallas.

Big John.

Yes the Dallas Texans of the AFL eventually became the chiefs.

HOWEVER, there was ANOTHER NFL team called the Dallas Texas...they played back in like 1952 or something, only a year or two in existence. That team is connected to the Baltimore Colts, who had (with Cleveland and SF I think) come from the AAFL

And the current day Titans are the old Houston Oilers franchise. Bum Phillips!

Yep. An original AFL team. They actually signed Mike Ditka of the Bears in the mid/late 60s and he stayed with the Bears because the two leagues decided to quit taking each other's players given they were going to merge.

I loved the 80s-90s Oilers with Warren Moon and that run and shoot offense. Can you imagine that today in fantasy? It was Lorenzo White in the backfield..... 4WRs: Haywood Jeffires, Ernest Givens, Drew Hill, and Curtis Duncan.
