Â Yes the Dallas Texans of the AFL eventually became the chiefs. Â HOWEVER, there was ANOTHER NFL team called the Dallas Texas...they played back in like 1952 or something, only a year or two in existence. They actually signed Mike Ditka of the Bears in the mid/late 60s and he stayed with the Bears because the two leagues decided to quit taking each other's players given they were going to merge. I loved the 80s-90s Oilers with Warren Moon and that run and shoot offense. Can you imagine that today in fantasy?
