HowboutthemCowboys
So does that mean that these guys have overachieved, or is it a down year for RBs in general? both imo

tazinib1
both imo Stew is just doing what he's been doing in the second half of the season the past 2 years. I think he's still UNDERACHIEVING thanks to Cam.
Boy Named Suh
Don't forget Foster I didn't forget him...his injury wasn't surprising in the least. He started the year injured, and then just got more injured. That guy has been on my Do Not Draft list for years...Charles has been too, but his injury probability wasn't as high as Arian's. I hate him for stealing TDs from Stewart. Big freak needs to stick to being a QB dang it.

tazinib1
Funny. When Stew is not pleasing his owners, there is a 5 page thread tearing him apart. They are all mysteriously absent now. I love it.
michaelredd9
I think he's still UNDERACHIEVING thanks to Cam. I think it's the opposite. JStew is overachieving because of Cam. Defenses are keyed on Cam, not JStew. Running backs always prosper when paired with a running quarterback who is playing at a high level. That said, JStew is still only averaging 3.9 yards per carry. The only way Cam is hurting JStew is by vulturing goal line touchdowns.
Boy Named Suh
The only way Cam is hurting JStew is by vulturing goal line touchdowns. Pretty sure that's what he was talking about. That's a pretty big way.
michaelredd9
Pretty sure that's what he was talking about. That's a pretty big way. JStew has 6 touchdowns. So he is on pace for 8 touchdowns. So maybe he should have a couple more touchdowns. The reason they are in the red zone so much is because of Cam, not JStew and his 3.9 ypc. From a fantasy perspective, his 15 receptions and 85 yards receiving hurts much more.
tazinib1
And if Cam was a pocket passer and did not scramble so often, dont you think they would employ a totally different blocking scheme???? Sorry Cam hurts Stew imo.
michaelredd9
And if Cam was a pocket passer and did not scramble so often, dont you think they would employ a totally different blocking scheme???? Sorry Cam hurts Stew imo. If Cam were a pocket passer, they'd want offensive linemen who pass protected more than run blocked. The only reason JStew is getting 20 carries a game is because the Panthers are 12-0 and always playing with a lead. The Panthers are 12-0 because of Cam and their defense, not JStew. JStew is averaging 3.9 ypc and that is paltry. 3.9 is especially bad since JStew's carries don't include short yardage. He only has one carry on 3rd and 1 or 3rd and 2 all season. If he got short yardage and goal line carries, his ypc would be even lower. Take Cam out of the equation, JStew would be getting 10-12 carries a game and not be in the red zone much. JStew probably should only get 10-12 carries a game anyhow since he averages 3.2 ypc with carries 11-20 and 2.3 ypc with carries 21-30. Boy Named Suh
No. Starting Martin, Hill & Robinson. Draughn, Hightower, Langford and B. Brown on my bench. Yeah, you're just bragging now. Better be careful or the Douggernaught will break his spleen, Hill will have an eye fall out on the field, Robinson will get his dreadlocks caught in a facemask and scalp himself, Draughn will remember he plays for the 49ers and kill someone while driving drunk and beating his girlfriend, Hightower will remember he's old, Brown will be cut when Christine Michael has more yards than fumbles, and are you really comfortable with Langford's ceiling?
