Dcat
4:53 PM | NBCSportsEDGE.com Packers ‘will be cautious’ with Watson’s workload NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the team “will be cautious” with Christian Watson’s workload in Week 4 against the Lions. Advice: This should serve as an immediate red flag to fantasy managers who were hoping to roll out Watson in his first game back. The Packers boast the eighth-highest scoring offense in the league through three weeks, and have gotten by just fine without Watson. While his return will bolster the passing game, the 2-1 Packers probably don’t feel much urgency to rush Watson back to action after he spent nearly three full weeks recovering from a hamstring injury. Unless you’re desperate for a spark, Watson may be best left on fantasy benches in Week 4. More: Tom Pelissero
Dcat
^ I'm not really buying this. If he's starting and feeling good without pain... they are going to use him and use him significantly I think.

Packers said same thing about Doubs in week 1 and he did well.

Maybe different injuries caused different results, or maybe Watson re-aggravted his injury limiting his playing time (wasn't paying close enough attention to see that). Doubs played most of the snaps (85%) the first game back, but Watson only played about 50%, with Reed and Wicks playing about 60-70% in those last 2 games. Much bigger disappointment was they made Aaron Jones active and barely played him.
