wolfdigger
Lat time these 2 faced off Champ shut down Gonzo, but that was the 1st game of the year! Do you think he will cover him again or go against the big play threat, Kennison? I have both players and want to play whomever is not covered by Champ! Thanks in advance! baddfish2
Great question, and I'm merely posting here for the BUMP as I'm facing the Gonzo owner this week and would love to hear that Bailey will cover Gonzo once again. Anyone know?
giantsfan
Logic says he'd cover Gonzo again because it worked well last time. But a few things to remember. Bailey has been beaten a lot lately. In the first game Gonzo was not 100%. Gonzo still has a HUGE size advantage over Bailey. Denver is ranked 20th against the pass the last 5 weeks. KC scores a lot at home. And Green is a much different player now then he was in game 1 when KC was just out of whack.
sixxgunn
Will Champ continue to cover Gonzo if the WR's go wild? This could be a very interesting game to watch.
Monsters Of The Midway
I don't think it matters anymore. QBs aren't afraid of Bailey.
gilthorp
Logic would say that they won't deploy the same defensive alignment as they did the previous game. Couple this with the fact that Morton is banged up and if Bailey is able to neutralize Kennison, that leaves the Chiefs offense in a world of hurt. I think the main reason the Broncos put Bailey on Gonzo in the first game of the year was simply a matter of not trusting their Rookie LB D.J. Williams to do the job as his first game as a professional. That's my take.

giantsfan
Well considering he's a pro-bowl CB I'd agree. But I do not think he'll shut him down like he did game 1. We'll see.
