A Little Bit Special

This is something that happens almost every year... if there's a big snow fall and there's questions of weather the stadium staff can get it clean in time, the fans show up and take care of it. Only in Packer Land.

Most showed up expecting to work for free.  Awesome.

I thought the same thing, but the article said:

"Ted Eisenreich, the Packers' director of facility operations, said the famously snowy game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1985 was the first time the team used public muscle on a such a large scale to scrape clear the frosty metal bleachers. He estimated the Packers have put out the call maybe seven times since. The last time was four years ago."

I no longer live in that part of the state, so I'm not sure.

Still cool, either way.

I'm not surprised knowing the people there. Even if the team could be sold or moved like the Colts and Browns noone would do it. Money isn't more important than that team. When they re-built the stadium they didn't want to build a new one because the old one was so special. bThe encircled it to they could work on it all winter.
