Trivia Question

Tough question.  I'm not sure when they even started playing the Pro Bowl.  Someone who was popular and played forever.  Somebody who wouldn't be the first player to come to your mind.  I'll guess Bruce Mathews.

Very good guess. But incorrect. Matthews played in 10 games, the leader played in 12.

EDIT: Matthews played in 10, but was selected to 4 more that he didn't play in.

Hmm, weird.

Either way, I was pretty sure it was McDaniel or the Merlin.  :D

I would assume that some of Olsen's pro bowl's came before the merger and, hence, the NFL as we know it.

Website that has Merlin is Pro Football.

Website that has McDaniel is NFL.

Question asked for NFL history.

So, if we can assume that Balzac's right about the pre-merger thing, which is kind of supported by the website names, than McDaniel would be the right answer.

I initially thought it was Anthony Munoz, but I note that he's not listed there either.

Edit: that would be b/c he was selected to 11, but didn't play in 2 of them.
