Why :D?

Must of been that shrewd drafting of a TE in the first round 2 or 3 years ago that solidified his value. That Gonzalez guy is kinda marginal, after all.

2 or 3 years ago???? TG has 9 years experience in the NFL already.

Uh, yeah, I know. My point is that the Chiefs drafted another TE in the first round a few years ago. I guess my sarcasm was not clear.

OK, I guess that I am officially an idiot. I just found a Chiefs draft history online & did not see a high draft pick spent on a TE in the past several years, I could of SWORE that they drafted a TE a few years ago in the 1st and caught serious heat.

I promise to do my homework.I promise to do my homework. I promise to do my homework. I promise to do my homework. I promise to do my homework. I promise to do my homework. I promise to do my homework. I promise to do my homework. I promise to do my homework.

(Peterson still sucks)

Actually, the idea was to give someone else for TGreen to throw the ball too since Morton and Kennison aren't scaring anyone...and then Wilson blew out his knee (or somesuch) and didn't do anything last year.

It's been (I think) five years since Carl & Co drafted an impact player on the first day of the draft...which I'm betting is the WORST drafting record in the NFL over that period...by a mile!
