sacosud
I have a feeling that OSU ends up meeting Georgia in the "just say no" Bowl. What bowl do you think your team will end up at???
Chavez
I heard the Capitol One Bowl was actually eyeing up Wisconsin, as long as they win at Hawaii.

Maybe the Dawgs will beat GaTech and earn Bowl Bidders respect in the SECCG...and go somewhere a little better...

Coastal Georgia Scoregasms
Yep. 1164196[/snapback] I'd say if I was a Big Televen fan I'd be a Badger or Hoosier fan...I like Alvarez and all the RB's that ya keep churning out...And I kinda like Hoeppner for IU...He was a good coach at Miami(OH)... Chavez
Hoeppner's got a tough road ahead of him at IU, that program has been down longer than the Titanic (or so it seems). But, well, if Northwestern can be competitive, I guess anything can happen. Indiana doesn't really have that great of a talent base to work from, which is one of the bigger problems at a state school, IMO.
Coastal Georgia Scoregasms
Yah...That school in South Bend takes all the good players, then Im not sure where else they try and look for players...I know theyre glad BBall season is here... That's one of the upsides with Wisconsin - it's the only program above d-3 in the state. They get the cream of the Wisconsin crop for the most part. Which means that at worst your lines are pretty well stocked up.
Coastal Georgia Scoregasms
Makes sense...I dont know a lot about Big Ten football, cept that UGA plays them in pretty much every bowl game they play outside of the BCS...
sacosud
The only way Wisconsin would have a shot at the Capital One Bowl is if the BCS takes OSU. The Buckeyes are Orlando bound if they do not get BCS. The only way we go to BCS is if Fiesta picks Notre Dame and OSU. That would open door for Wisconsin. Coffeeman
They are not my team, but I know which team will get the BCS shaft again - Oregon. They'll finish at #6 or #7 with the only loss being to USC, but will end up losing out to lower ranked (9-10) ND and BigEast winner just because the big $ boys club likes it that way. And whoever plays Fresno State better strap it on, or they'll get beat by a very good Bulldog team...

I really do not care which Bowl we go to at this point. I just want to play a good team. I would love to see a OSU vs Notre Dame but the pressure of the little guy getting passed over (Cal) last year will be too much!!! I would love to play LSU in Capital One if we do not get BCS. I don't think Notre Dame has done anything to merit getting a BCS spot, but it's all about money and they will. Ohio State and Notre Dame should get the At Large positions. Sorry Oregon, you are neither a draw, or that good. USC turned it on like a lightswitch vs the Ducks, and exposed them for what they really are, just another Pac 10 team being fed to the SC monster. Oregon will be right where they deserve to be, and that's the Holiday Bowl.

Please. ND has two last-second losses and that's good enough to get the nod (and it ALWAYS will be good enough for ND to get the nod). In case you're wondering, my team will be playing in the Fiesta Bowl as long as they take care of business in Palo Alto on Saturday... PatrickL
if UGA loses the SECCG they are headed to the Peach Bowl. Auburn is a lock to the Capital One Bowl regardless of what happens now that ND has lost to Stanford. Probably Auburn vs. Wisconsin. whootpy do. I hope its Ohio State though. GWPFFL BrianW
And Notre Dame just struggled to beat a terrible stanford team. Yep... sure does look like a contender. Ya heard it here first... ND gets murdered in there bowl game, even if it's the Gator Bowl. A loss is a loss... Notre Dame is living on reputation pure and simple... if it was based on a body of work, they wouldn't go. They are getting praised based on a "quality" loss. Notre Dames only good win this year was vs Michigan, and they aren't anything special. You lost to Michigan State who is terrible (and what bowl are they going to btw?). So your most impressive win was vs a 4 loss team. Way to go guys. Reputation will get you to the game... it won't get you the W though.

Never have and never will. If you are not part of the big $ or the good ol southern or east coast boys, then apparently your area does not know how to play football? Unbelievable. How many times do you have to win the Championship to get any respect? USC has done it all year. Yeah some of the games may not have been pretty. I dare to say some of Texas's games have not looked so pretty. But finding a way to win is what it is all about...no matter who you are. I cant wait for USC to take on TEXAS, OUR TEXAS, OH HAIL THE MIGHTY STATE, TEXAS OUR TEXAS, SO WONDERFUL AND GREAT.... USC will win again, and still a 3 peat will get no respect...nor will the Pac-10. But thats ok, because we'll have the trophy and we will have done what no other college football team has ever done, respect or no respect. I Like being the #1 team in the nation that gets no respect. Playing with a chip on our shoulders will provide great motivation and great football. Vince Young you better get ready because we are about to pass a little disrespect along to you. Go Trojans!!! GWPFFL BrianW
Ohio State would wipe the floor with Notre Dame. As would Penn State. Take your pick... Notre Dame is going down. Heck if they go to the Gator Bowl, they would probably play Miami right. That is another loss for them. ND loses there bowl game regardless.
