steeler
I realize that the Steelers didn't play their best game in the Super Bowl, but they deserve to be Super Bowl Champions without a doubt. They had to travel the most difficult path available in this playoff format just to make it to the SB. On thier way, they beat the #1, 2 and 3 seeds in the AFC on the road and they beat the #1 seed in the NFC in the Super Bowl. They beat 4 division champs in the playoffs and held some of the top offensive teams well under their ppg averages. As a fan of the superbowl champs it sucks when people say their win was "tainted", so if you do feel that way, please take into account their entire body of work in the playoffs... it really is pretty impressive, even though they didn't play their best in the SB. (6) Pitt 21(1) Seattle 10 (28.2 ppg - 1st in scoring)--------------------------------------(6) Pitt 34(2) Denver 17 (24.7 ppg - 7th in scoring)--------------------------------------(6) Pitt 21(1) Indy 18 (27.4 ppg - 2nd in scoring)-------------------------------------(6) Pitt 31(3) Cincy 17 (26.3 ppg - 4th in scoring)

Jedi
I give the Steelers credit for their great playoff run. More credit than I give the Seahawks for theirs. That's as far as the credit is deserved. Shame too. The winner should be undisputed, and that is clearly not the case here.

All I've seen from Hawk fans is..... 1307852[/snapback] i think it's more than just the Hawks fans who are complaining about the Refs tonight. Anyone who wasn't a homer who watched the game will have to admit that there were a lot of questionable calls that affected the outcome of the game, period. Are those who didn't have a rooting interest too? or are you going to claim tomorrow (after you've sobered up and re-read your ridiculous posts tonight) that your comments were directed only at Hawks fans? I couldn't have cared less who won lost the SB, but for you to claim that to question the officiating is being a is ridiculous.
