rhino
(Sorry, but I haven't been around much due to work. This has probably been posted during the past 2 weeks, but too tired to hunt for it if it does exist.) So, how does Edge feel now, watching his Colts hoist the Lombardi Trophy? And, does this mean that Edge was the force that was holding back IND all this time? (no, I don't think that's true, either)

(no, I don't think that's true, either) Well let's see, Colts are Champions and as for Edge, well, he played on a 5-11 squad getting beat to death by unblocked linemen and looking forward to a new coach, new system, and quite possibly a new first round draft pick to replace him. You can safely say, he is probably smoking a fatty with Ricky right about now giving the "that could have been me" speech. Someone should give the guy a hug or something........... But the thing that people dont understand about the Edge is that the Colts didn't even make him an offer last offseason (even before they drafted Addai). So really, It never could have been him this year.
Grits and Shins
Edge may not be on a SB winning team .... but by God he is paid well.

Donutrun Jellies
Edge may not be on a SB winning team .... but by God he is paid well. Maybe he now FULLY understands the simple difference between having more money than anyone will ever need along with a championship -- and having even more money than anyone will ever need and replacing Peyton on the list of players who never won anything ... cdrudge
It was discussed a little bit in this thread. Sure I'm sure that he would have wanted the ring. But it openly admits that he left for the money. My guess is that while bummed that he doesn't have a ring, he's excited that many of his friends on the Colts do.
