cory_n_az
Anyone that watches Denver realizes this guy is for real. The fact that he's growing along side a strong-arm, up and coming QB, only bodes well for the future. Don't be surprised when Walker/Marshall are one of the league's best duos within the next couple years.
Bronco Billy
Oh no SIR, you won't sucker me in again with your grumpy trolling ways. I already TOLD you, you win, you're the best, I'd never dare mess with you. Really. You win the internet argument. You win! Yaaaaaay! I was staggered and shaken by your initial laser-like insight into my person, and am now awed into fleeing the field in the face of your incredible wit and dogged tenacity. You sir, have put me firmly in my place, and I for one intend to stay there! Yes indeed. [sillyfrenchaccent]Now go away, or I shall taunt you a second time, you wiper of other people's bottoms.[/sillyfrenchaccent]
51Butkus
No offense to Mr. Brandon Marshall, but I hope not! I traded him away yesterday for Andre Johnson AND Rudi Johnson. That is some kind of "trading post"! What kind of goofballs are you in a league with????????? Hurt or not, you "skinned" your trading partner. Having said that, Marshall looks elusive, gets lots of looks and passes his way, and finds the end zone occasionally! DK
DKF
Would you trade Marshall for Andre Johnson & Rudi Johnson right now if it were offered? Nope. Of course that comes with several caveats, like it depends on the circumstances. At the beginning of this year, in one league, I was offered Andre Johnson plus (plus to be negotiated) for Marshall. At that pointin time, AJ was ranked (I think) a top 10 WR. Marshall was ranked in the 30's for WR's. I declined the offer. But the devil is in the circumstances. Cost, contract years, other players on the roster, etc. Like I said, no trade is really as simple as it sounds.

Well, unless the league has a scoring rule that states "All players named Brandon Marshall score 10x the normal value for each reception, receiving yard and TD" I cannot forsee any circumstance in which I would trade Rudi Johnson and Andre Johnson for him. AtomicCEO
At least one out of every 4 plays inside the 15 is a fade to him in the corner. He's no Ashley Lelie.
CaptainHook
He's for real. His YAC is like watching a RB in the secondary, and he makes some incredible catches. Now add to that Walker missing time in practice this week because of swelling in his knee, and Marshall could get even more attention. That third down catch and run he had against Jacksonville this week was RIDICULOUS. One of the best runs I've EVER seen by a WR.

Your lack of foresight only limits you. Foresee a team where you are 0-3. Its a 4 keeper league where you can only keep players for a max of 5 years before they are returned to the pool, and you can only keep a max of two players per position. Its similar to a league that I played in a few years ago. Foresee that your RB's are: Addai - 4 years left Tomlinson - 4 years leaft Rudi - last year, after this year he's back in the pool Foresee that your WR's are: SSmith - 4 years left AJohnson - last year Foresee the rest of your team looking like a log floating on the surface, and its time to flush and rebuild. Rudi and AJ's value is terribly diminished right now due to the fact that they are both injured and next year they are both going into the pool. It makes a lot of sense to have the foresight to make Marshall your 4th keeper in return for Rudi and AJ. Do we need to go any further and look at the other team? I can give you a scenario where it is both good and bad for him to trade Marshall for Rudi and AJ.

You could come up with a similar set of circumstances that could justify almost any trade. For the vast majority of leagues (and therefore discussion on this board with everyone speaking a common language, so to speak) the trade is ridiculous, and certainly the originator did not justify his bending over of his trading partner - I assume one of his pets or his Mom - with a convoluted set of stipulations such as what you posted. Agreed, I was not referring to the original post or claim, only the post in which it was stated the the poster could not 'foresee', ever making that trade. Having been in leagues with a similiar setup to that, I can foresee that circumstance. I made it extreme so that anyone even with limited ability to foresee can foresee. And that is was exactly the point of my earlier posts, it all really does depend on the circumstances. DKF
Nice work Mr. Kreskin. All of the question are hermetically sealed and kept in a mayonnaise jar on Funk and Wagnalls porch.
piratesownninjas
Yet another highjacking of a thread... This is about Brandon Marshall, not your dynasty leagues... I think Marshall is the real deal. He's got size, speed, talent, a good offense, and a strong armed quarterback... Everything is in place for great things.
