electricrelish
Tonight, I received a Tony Romo All Star Vinyl figure made by Upper Deck for my birthday. My g/f knows that I've had Tony Romo as my QB on at least one Fantasy Football team for the last 2 years, which has led me to a championship. This year I joined the BoTH LLD league and drafted Romo. This figure is pretty kewl. Does anyone else collect these? When they first came out they sold for $50 apiece and then the price jumped to $75. Now. they've massed produced them for Toys R Us, which is great since they are only $20.00. Unfortunately, they aren't too articulate, so you're limited to the poses. It's a kewl item to have on your desk this football season. Seems like action figures would go well with fantasy. I wish they made more running backs. They focused too much on QB's in this first wave. http://www.plasticandplush.com/plasticandp...tar-viny-1.html Edited March 12, 2009 by electricrelish

My favorite NFL figures are those made by Gracelyn, which are hard to find, but they actually have articulation. Sorry, but you can't help but want to pick these things up and move them. Check em out. http://www.allstarfigures.com/cgi-bin/comm...ywords=gracelyn Edited March 12, 2009 by electricrelish
electricrelish
OK, I just found the strangest NFL figure line ever. It's called ToyQuest NFL Probots. Robots with your favorite football player's head sculpts. So they are trying to combine Transformers with NFL players and play off that dancing robot Cleatus on FOX. You have got to see these links: http://www.sportsactionfigure.com/sports-t...mpany/toyquest/ http://www.sportsactionfigure.com/player2....580&sport=1 Edited March 12, 2009 by electricrelish
