Bearsfanspud
Because of his missed field goal at the end of regulation, I am now down 1 point going into this week. Anybody else get screwed over by Bailey?

Bearsfanspud
Um, it was blocked? Goes in the book as a missed FG, not blocked.
Zooty
Uh, the Cowboys? Maybe it was your other players not just Bailey. Duh Everyone always hating on kicker (and the late game players)
Thews40
Um, it was blocked? The NFL needs to change its timeout rule for field goals IMO. The whole waiting till the last second to call one is BS.

historymike
Yeppers: I got screwed by that block. I would have been up 2 points on my opponent, and - just imagine - if the game went into OT Bailey might have helped me pad the lead if he kicked a game winner (hypothetical, of course). Instead I got bounced from the playoffs. Meh - shiiite happens. But Bailey really was the least of my problems. I had yawner games from almost every starter: Megatron, VJax, Mendenhall, BMarshall... my team just rolled over and sucked. fitzkek
If he makes it I advance. He missed. Now eliminated.
detlef
Goes in the book as a missed FG, not blocked. That's great. So does that mean we have to pretend it was his fault in this thread? It was a reasonably long kick, so the trajectory was going to be somewhat lower than normal. Then the O-Line parted like the red sea and Pierce Paul totally got through up the middle. So, for the sake of this conversation, I think it only fair not to trash Bailey. And no, that has nothing to do with the fact that he's on my team but I didn't care because I was on a 1st round bye. detlef
It's a strategy that has proven can go both ways. Why change it? Exactly, and how do they change the rule? No calling timeout right before a play? What if you notice you've got 12 men on the field? And, since we don't know when a play is going to start, how do we know when "right before the play" is? stevegrab
Maybe it was your other players not just Bailey. Duh Everyone always hating on kicker (and the late game players) Exactly, as if the guys who played early were less important. And that one who normally scores 7-10 or more points and got 3 (I'm talking to you Megatron) get a pass because they played early.
Slugs3511
The one where Garrett called a time out cost me 50 dollars to win the division, so I was the 4 seed instead of the 3rd seed....however, I played the 5th seed and won this week and the 3rd seed lost.....So......I made out I guess.....and I didn't need him this week, however, I still feel 10 points is good for a pk...
