I'll be taking part in the GridirionExperts.com live mock that starts in about 40 minutes.

I'm drafting from the 8 spot. You can follow along here: http://football25.my...ns?L=72066&O=17

PPR Scoring

Starting Lineups: 1QB, 2RB, 3 WR, 1TE, 1 Flex(RB/WR/TE), 1K, 1D

Mock is set for 16 rounds.

Rice is really sliding in drafts this year. Is it because of Pierce, the heavy load of carries he has taken the last few years, both? 10 straight RBs to start off as well. 2.12 seems very early for Bush considering Ridley, Wislon, and even Murray are still on the board. Aaron Rodgers at 3.12 seems like a tremendous value. Bernard at 5.07 seems high even though the hype is high for Giovani.

Where are the QBs? Five rounds done and only two taken? I'd look into Brady/Manning/Newton for your 6th rounder if I were you, but I am not.

Sorry Keg... I don't like your draft at all. I don't see any position where you have strong stud players. But hey, it's just a mock and I'm certainly no expert.

I like Jody Smith's team, and Tim Talmadge's team.

I have no problem at all with people not liking my team, that's everyone's prerogative.

But for those that care about my thought process and to answer some already posed questions:

Herd dat.

Matt Forte at #8 overall. Darren Sproles on the way back in the 2nd.

Sheesh, makes The Huddle look like a bunch of noobs.

I'm embarrassed to be seen in this thread.

Forte is a guy that I love this year, especially in PPR...don't be shocked to see him catch 75+ in Trestman's offense. Last year, in this scoring system -- even with missing one game -- Forte finished as RB11. I'll gladly take that with what should be a MUCH friendlier offense for him.

Sproles finished as RB12, even with him missing 3 games. This year he'll have Payton back. You know, the coach that he finished as the #5 RB in this format under back in 2011.

And I won't even get into the amount of turnover that happens in the top 10 RBs on a yearly basis. Hate away if you like.

Not much to dislike about Bush in a PPR format....as for Bernard, I love him and he won't need many touches to be fantasy relevant. He'd have been my pick at 5.8.

As for QBs, I have an article that I'm working on and it should change the way that people look at the position. So, since I believe in my research I'm going to walk the walk.

There's Manning off the board...trigger the run Steve!!!

I would've gone QB there instead of Tony Gonzalez. Missed the run now

See my last post for my feeling about QB.

As for Gonzo, would have rather taken Steve Smith or Josh Gordon (even with the suspension)...but Gonzo is a nice enough consolation prize.

Keggerz- just curious why did you let Calvin Johnson fall to 11 in a PPR league and take Forte instead when the huddle projections have CJ outscoring Forte by about 50 points on the season?

I didn't expect him to make it to me, and I did give him consideration but with the depth at WR versus the RB position I felt it was better to get a RB that I am expecting big things from this year.

As to your 50 pts statement. That's about 2.9 PPG so it's not as massive as you would think. But I do love CJ so it wasn't easy to pass on him.

I like that guy Scott Lynges team!!! That's a solid team now! He's stacked at WR and decent at RB.

Scott did a nice job, but I'm not enamored with his RBs, especially in a PPR.

Picking a favorite from the other 11 experts isn't easy...I do like what Micah James and Chad Scott have.

Fair enough. I'll be eagerly awaiting this article :)

I'll give you a sneak peak at a tidbit in the article...Over the past 7 years* the top-3 ADP QBs have a win percentage of just .508 (equates to 6.6 wins in a 13 week reg. season)

*Research from 3 leagues. Two were expert leagues (SOFA Classic and SOFA IDP) and the other was a random 6pt/pass TD league at MFL.
