  1. You don't need to do anything. A manager can log in and out at anytime during a draft. if they're disconnected (purposefully or accidentally) they go into autodraft. It will fill out your entire team, so you will get a DEF and K in rounds 8-11 usually. The AI has gotten better about balancing the team and not loading up on one position, and I think it's better about discounting injured players (although with no preseason, no one is really injured). They can reorder their list to remove players and create a custom ranking in advance. Don't know if removing D/K entirely will avoid drafting them. I haven't done it on the phone, but they can draft in the app in case they're away from a desktop computer. Make sure you turn the sound on at the bottom left of the window!! I just drafted, and it was default "off" so, I didn't get the audio countdown during my pick and it autodrafted a player from my queue when I ran out of time.
  2. Replied to the PM, but to reiterate, I'll take both.
  3. You can only go as high as 2 minutes and you only get 5 pauses. You could do an offline draft live, by email or in a GDoc and then input the picks manually into Yahoo.
  4. This Harvin situation is giving me migraines.
  5. Beautiful here in Portland. I wouldn't worry about it.
  6. Anyone know what the unsportsmanlike conduct call was? If someone on BUF was visibly agitated that the runner had forward progress stopped, I wouldn't blame them. Refs are making some horrific calls today. I mean, some of us have money on the line here.
  7. Rex was practically wetting himself over Holmes' return in Hard Knocks, and called him the best weapon on the team. In another sideline aside with his coaches he made an offhand comment to the effect of "4 weeks and watch out." I usually don't put a lot of credence from stuff on that show, but that seemed honest enough for me to draft him across all my leagues.
  8. With all the RBBC and 3rd down pass catching specialists, it's great to see a drive like this with 3 attempts inside the 5: 1st-10, TEN43 14:06 C. Johnson rushed to the right for 3 yard gain 2nd-7, TEN46 13:37 C. Johnson rushed to the left for 12 yard gain 1st-10, NYG42 13:11 C. Johnson rushed to the right for 3 yard gain 2nd-7, NYG39 12:30 V. Young passed to N. Washington down the middle for 17 yard gain 1st-10, NYG22 11:57 C. Johnson rushed to the left for 6 yard gain 2nd-4, NYG16 11:19 C. Johnson rushed to the right for 6 yard gain 1st-10, NYG10 10:45 C. Johnson rushed to the right for 2 yard gain 2nd-8, NYG8 10:09 NY Giants committed 5 yard penalty 1st-3, NYG3 9:58 C. Johnson rushed up the middle for 1 yard gain 2nd-2, NYG2 9:28 C. Johnson rushed to the left for 1 yard gain 3rd-1, NYG1 8:43 C. Johnson rushed to the right for 1 yard touchdown. R. Bironas made PAT
  9. Had Turner and Harvin not gotten hurt, I'd probably be 2-0 with him as well, so I figure I go one more week and then panic. Still, 2 games against PITT and the NO game on the road during my playoffs makes me worried.
  10. Are you cutting him in a 12-team league? His receivers are better than anyone on the wire, and the upcoming schedule is ok, but not great. Still, I'd have a hard time running to the wire when it's Sanchez, Gradkowski, Claussen, and Hill.
  11. Anyone trying any systems that they want to talk about? I don't have the patience for all the historical number crunching, so I just use ESPN to try things out. This year, I'm doing a system that picks all home favorites and home dogs up to +2.5. Last week 9-7.
