  1. This is my season in a nutshell: I've been outscored 143-83 at the kicker position this year including 35-8 the last two weeks. Lost both games by single digits. I've been through a bundle of kickers and I get each of them for their 3 point weeks. First year I've experienced this nightmare. TE has been brutal as well. I have one TE TD all year (Donnell) and start the wrong guy every week. I had Pitta, then Paul, then traded for Donnell, then added Clay, then Rudolph. Thought I was set with Pitta. I can make the playoffs with a win this weekend, but I play the best team in the league and still have to choose between Rudolph and Donnell and am trying to pick up Barth or Bryant to replace Dawson.
  2. Thanks Keggerz. Good news. Read it straight off the Huddle Breaking News Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (non-injury related) did not practice Thursday, Nov. 20. Huddle Up: It might turn out to be nothing, but there's been no immediate reason given for the absence. All in all, it's rather strange considering it was to be the WR's second practice after returning from suspension.
  3. Gordon did not practice today. Yikes. No explanation given.
  4. I wish someone would figure out which WW TE was going to emerge. I've gotten 9.4 total pts out of the position in 5 weeks. Pitta going down killed me. Then Paul getting his head caved in was a bad break. Then Garrett Graham getting one target against the 32nd ranked Cowboys hurt..............
  5. Me: Stafford, AP, Gore, LBell, Garcon, Jeffrey, Gonzalez, Tucker Him: Cam, Charles, McCoy, Fitzgerald/Boykin, ABrown, VDavis, JThomas, Suisham The two best teams in our league this year made the final, and we are good buddies, so this should be an epic showdown. The Huddle makes me a 7 pt dog, CBS makes me a 6 pt favorite.
  6. I had no horses in this race and am not a Packers or Cowboys fan. And I like Garrett in general. He cost his team an easy win with the play calling in the second half. No other way to view it. If he runs the ball a total of 15 times after intermission, there is no way they can lose that game. The results of the runs don't even matter.
  7. That's horrible. I've lost in some brutal ways, but that takes the cake. In the other semi (I will win mine tonight), our league juggernaut won by 5.75 pts and would have lost without the punt return TD. I sure would have enjoyed not playing him next week.
  8. I'm up by 5 with Stafford and Tucker going and my opponent starting Calvin. As long as he doesn't have two rushing TD's and Stafford doesn't get hurt, I should be okay. Next week, different story. My opponent will start Newton, Charles, McCoy, ABrown, Boykin, VDavis, Julius Thomas. He won his semi only by virtue of Brown's punt return last night. Despite starting Charles, he went into last night down by 10+.
  9. I'm definitely starting Garcon, and have measured hopes that Cousins can actually sustain drives against that mediocre defense.
  10. I haven't played anywhere in OH, but I did walk through the poker room in downtown Cleveland in September. I was shocked to find a 5/10 NL and several 2/5 NL tables open at 2pm on a weekday. Must be a lot of higher stakes poker players in Cleveland.
  11. I am starting Pryor this week with Stafford on bye. His matchup looks fantastic and all indications are positive. Murphy dictates that he will put up an 8 pt slogfest. SD is also poor against the QB position so both have good matchups. I would start Pryor because of the likelihood of good rushing numbers. No way I would bench Gronk if he is 100% certain of playing.
  12. Could you ever really feel good about owning a Belichick RB? Remember when Maroney had the monster year and went first round the next season, only to get 1/2 of the carries and generally fade away? If you are comfortable with huge weeks interspersed with near zeros, he could be worth owning/starting for teams with sketchy RB's.
  13. I'm starting him this week with Stafford/Eli on bye. Picked him up today to start against PHI, as Big Ben against NE gives me gas. This should be a good test to see if he can feast on bad defenses.
  14. All the returning bodies probably help Brady quite a bit, but other than Gronk, there's not a player on that roster that I could trust to score points for my team in a big spot. I purposely stayed away from them in our auction.
  15. I wouldn't have a problem with this trade, and think the guy getting the draft pick won the trade, but not unfairly.
