Jrick35
Because I started Stokley in both of those leagues. 575415 A few more of those TD's to players other than Stokely and I'll bet you start getting a little sad. Although Manning is going for 8 today, maybe Stokely can get a few more yet.
Jumbie
Call me bitter, but does anyone else hope that Manning stalls at 47?
baddfish2
Call me bitter, but does anyone else hope that Manning stalls at 47? 575481 No, and barring injury I can't even see how that's possible. What I think is interesting is that the record is held by, and will probably be broken by a pair of great QB's with no Superbowl rings between them. I just don't see manning getting a ring this year either.
Jrick35
Call me bitter, but does anyone else hope that Manning stalls at 47? 575481 The only people that could possibly feel that way are people who don't have Manning, Stokley, Harrison, Wayne, Pollard or Clark on their rosters. One amazing by-product of mannings season is that one team has actually produced 5 viable fantasy football receiving options. 3 at WR and 2 at TE. And yet despite everything Edge entered this week in the top 5 or 10 of all RB's in all Fantasy leagues. He is #5 in both of my leagues. So in my league, counting Manning that gives the Colts the: #1 Fantasy QB - Manning #5 RB - James #3, #7 & #18 WR's - Wayne, Harrison & Stokley and I think Stokely will move up this week #8 & #11 TE - Clark & Pollard Anybody with any of these players has nothing to gripe about. And from a fantasy standpoint why would anyone want to see this end? Unless they didn't have any of these player?
DMD
Because I started Stokley in both of those leagues. 575415 And you thought Manning was done after three scores to Stokley You were, it appears, mistakened.
untateve
And you thought Manning was done after three scores to Stokley You were, it appears, mistakened. 575490 1 League: Manning = 29; Stokely = 23 2 League: Manning = 33; Stokely = 23 Given that I knew manning was going to get his points, It's nice that more than half went to stokely. I 'm ahead in both of these leagues (I also have the colts def).
Jumbie
My quip about hoping that he stalls at 47 has nothing to do with fantasy football. It just seems as though he is padding his stats.

It just seems as though he is padding his stats. 575526 He came out still in the 3rd quarter. If he were padding his stats, he would have wanted to stay in there and throw 2 or 3 more TDs (the NFL record is 7 in one game). Are you wishing Edge would rush for more TDs? What does it matter unless he is forcing the passes? If they have the best red-zone % (its top 5 for certain), then he is making the right calls isn't he? It just seems as though he is padding his stats. 575526 Leaving Fantasy Football out of it and speaking from a purely football point of view I think what Manning is doing with the Colts Offense is masterful. Potentially they could have this year a: QB with over 4500 yds passing and 50 TD's RB with over 2000 yds from scrimmage and maybe 10 TD's 3 WR's with 1000 yds receiving and 10 TD's EACH 2 TE's with 600 YDs receiving between them and maybe 8 TD's EACH How could any fan of football want that to stop. Manning is padding his stats, that's what football players do. But he's also padding everyone else's stats. And they are 8-3 and winning their division. So he's winning games too.
