I'm thankful I don't have children...because it's clearly obvious the people that have done and support this hate their children severely. Show your kids your fancy house and car and explain to them why they'll have neither in their lifetime tonight.

Wow bailing out Fannie and Freddie is costing more than all the other bali outs, almost 4 times that of AIG, and yet where is the outrage at the bonuses they paid out? I guess Barney Frank and Obama need to be careful in lambasting them.

I plan on telling my kids that this is the room that they're going to have even after they're married ... we're gonna have ourselves a little compound!

We're all moving to Utah and shacking up at casa de Neutron. I'm gonna marry my daughters off to Jimmy's sons. If this bun in the oven turns out to be a boy, then Jimmy's daughter is spoken for too. :D

That's a lot of mouths to feed, I better get a bigger place.

That Huddler Nation compound we've mentioned in threads gone by is sounding better and better.

Anybody bought whole wheat cereal lately? :DAlmost $8 for a bag of friggin' shredded wheat!

My brother and I were discussing buying a 97 acre tract of land about 30 minutes ago, primarily for hunting, but we'd probably allocate for a garden, and might plant a couple of acres of corn. The corn will help attract the deer, and we can always harvest what the deer don't.

If there is water on the place and you can amend the soil to grow crops, it's probably a terrific investment right now.

I don't have any land other than my suburban lot, but I'll be making the most of food production on it this year. My wife thinks I'm kidding when I tell her I'm planting veggies where we normally put flowers. I think tomatoes and squash will look find in the front border beds. Ya can't eat petunias.
