Seahawk37 Posted August 10, 2005 Share Posted August 10, 2005 19 year old rookie pitching king Felix Hernandez made his home major league debut at Safeco Feild yesterday against the Minnesota Twins. He pitched amazing going 8.0 innings giving up no runs no walks and delivering 6 k's. He didnt get upset when Adrian Beltre made a feilding error that resulted in a bases loaded situation Felix then faced the nest batter and induced a ground ball to him and he then throw him out at first. This guy is 2 years older than me and is pitching in the major leagues and is doing very well. The Seattle Mariners signed him at age 16. He is the biggest pitching prospect in baseball. The kid is huge. 1st pitch was 98, 93rd and last pitch (in the 8th) was 98. Ron Gardenhire refered to his "curveball from hell". Boston is a better team they proved that last year. I love being a seattle sports fan we have the Sonics who have a real good chance at winning the NBA championship this year. I'm not a Yankee fan, but I dislike 37 more. AL West Championship, that was funny 37, you don't remember that, what were you like 5?
