dmarc117 Posted July 28, 2007 Share Posted July 28, 2007 (edited) was on the 10g lipitor, they had to boost it to 20mg. liver levels were a little high. total came down to 205 from 310. that was last october. with the move, the script ran out so wasnt on anything for 6mo. went last month to a new dr. and it was up above 300 again. my new doc put me on 10g vytorin because of the liver levels. he said u can usually do a lower dose of vytorin because it slows both your body's production of chol and its absorption from food. been on for a month. we shall see. Came down from over 500 to 145. Vytorin works. At least for me it did. Plus my triglys. were sky high and it also went down to 145. Made a believer out of me.
