Since you haven't watched any international soccer, you probably haven't noticed that the fields are often ringed with armed guards to keep the crowds in the stands--not that it always works. Also, the benches have plexiglass shields over them to keep the fans from pounding the players and coaches with whatever they can get their hands on. My point, however, was that it is a game that's played staight thru for 90 minutes without commercial interruption. And that's what started this thread, a complaint about commercial interruption. You probably watch baseball. : Talk about a sport for narcoleptics! Plus, you get all the commercials you can handle, too!
