fantasyfanatic
Ok I have not found myself in week 10 and out since the first year I played this game. I am in a 12 team keeper league. Are keeper rules are simple. You have to keep 2 players and you have the option of keeping 3. You can only keep one player per position (1 QB 1 RB 1 WR). So with that said. Would it be fair for me to try and make a move that would be a move for next year....or would that be wrong? I was thinking of trying to get TO or Holt or Moss. Is that fair to the rest of the league?

blaw23
Definitely that is what you would do. Start looking towards next year, if you feel you are out of it for this year.
cdrudge
I'd say that is definitely fair. Since you realizes that you don't have much, if any, chance this year, then you should always look towards next. As long as your not dumping your team then what's the problem? Vet
I think you owe it to your fans to start working on putting a decent product on the field for next season.

Are league is very playoff friendly two teams from each divison make it.

BrooklynCrew
I fell to 3-6 this week in my keeper league as well. It is a BIG keeper turnover year as it's year 3 since we started and BIG guys are open in the pool next season (Tomlinson, Alexander, Edge to name a few). I officially posted to our league this morning that it's open season on my roster as it's our last week for trades. I am willing to trade ANYBODY for draft picks. I have Holt, Bulger, R.Moss, Favre, Dillon all available... My team may become non-competitve after this week, but I'll be getting one of those on the market RB's, and some extra picks in the first 5 rounds to boot next year. Kid Cid
Yup, that's what you do. Although you may be able to get TO pretty cheap right now.
fantasyfanatic
Yup, that's what you do. Although you may be able to get TO pretty cheap right now. 1130209 Fanball is reporting that the Eagles have stated today in a press conference that he will be suspended for 4 games and then will not return to the Eagles this year. Since we can only keep one receiver I have offered Galloway. Not that he would want to keep him.....but he has been pretty good so far this year. I plan on keeping Dom and McNabb unless I can land a bonified WR. Then I will keep all 3 unless I end up with the #1 pick then I would have to dump someone. It is complicated.....there is a suplimental round before the first round for all teams not keeping three players. In order to retain the first pick I would have to cut someone free. My roster is open game. I think Owens would prob. be the easiest to get though. Guys are hessitant to trade though. I was trying to trade one of my quaterbacks to the guy who owns Culpep and Carr.....I would have taken Evans for Lefty. Instead he took Ortan off the wire and released Evans. Owens and Farve for Brunell and Westy 1131763 Counter. I'd be shocked if Favre doesn't retire at the end of the year. Get someone who will actually play.
