sunysteelfly76
We finally convinced the commish to change it to week sixteen next year. I'm thinking he would rather have it switched this year as he is sitting Hasselbeck and Alexander and is replacing them wirh Holcomb and Gore. edit: Me E. Manning QB L. Johnson RB W. Parker RB R. The Grey Pilgrim
I am playing in the Super Bowl this week in a 14 team league. You'll likely laugh at my starting lineup. It will be J. Martin, Goings, Parker, Holt, Driver, M Rob, Bubba Franks, Kaeding, and IDP's Strahan, Bollock, and A. Wilson. Bulger and Griese have long been gone, Harrison will only play a series, if that. At least my opponent has to sit Hasselbeck. He will start Holcomb instead. It ain't pretty, but I am glad I've made it this far. I was a wild card entry into the playoffs. BiPolarBear
I won our SB last week. I can't imagine trying to field a team trying to win a SB this week. I guess you would have to plan way in advance to have players on struggling teams that are playing for something to win (or lose). I dropped hasslebeck and Edge is on my bench. I really got screwed when Jonathan Wells went on IR. I would be starting two kickers if I could get away with it.
Selly
My local's is this week, I keep trying to get it moved to week 16, and the rest of the league keeps shooting it down. The fact that I would have won 6 of our 8 SB's had they been held week 16 has nothing to do with their position Anyway, I must have the most pathetic SB lineup here: Mine 2 QB: Boller, Simms 3 RB: Alexander, Gore, Betts 3 WR: J. Smith, R. Smith, Gaffney 1 TE: Gonzalez 1 K: Tynes 2 Def: Car, Mia vs. Brunell, Big Ben LJ, Caddy, Dunn S. Moss, Bryant, Stallworth Cooley J. Brown Indy, Was And to top it off, I'm playing my wife. Gunther
I thought I'd be fine at running back this week when our waiver froze in Week 14. Now Lamont Jordan and DD are out, so I have to play part-timer T. Jones and hope Julius does well. My hope pretty much hinges on JJ, Boldin and Steve Smith being on fire this weekend. My opponent pretty much has players slated to play full games this week; Barber, C Johnson, T Holt, Crumpler. I can only hope that LT2 will struggle today :doah: My team had me well ahead of the pack until I went on a four game losing streak to end the season with a bang. I will try again to see if I can get the league to eliminate Week 17 next season and use some incentive so that we are still playing for something in the last week of the season. Old School
My main league is SB week 17- like others, a change to week 16 continues to be voted down each year. Qb- Bledsoe RB- Dillon, Julius Jones, Travis Henry WR- Chad Johnson, Antonio Gates, McCarriens (or R Wayne) K- Baronas D- NY Giants It's not pretty. STL Fan
Our Toilet Bowl (we call it the Scrote Bowl) is this week and I'm in. The talent isn't bad, but you have to consider this is an 8-team local. Him: Drew Bledsoe QB Corey Dillon RB Thomas Jones RB Terry Glenn WR Anquan Boldin WR Chad Johnson WR Chris Cooley TE Matt Stover K Me: Kerry Collins QB Larry Johnson RB Tiki Barber RB NYG Deion Branch WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh Torry Holt WR STL Jason Witten TE Lawrence Tynes K I had to start Collins this week and bench Hasselbeck, plus he has two players going against the Rams, and I only have one, so advantage him on that one, too. For what it's worth (nothing)I have Clinton Portis, Ricky Williams, and Dominic Rhodes on my bench this week. Winner makes enough to pay for next year's league fee and probably this year's transactions as well. Loser still gets around $50. We were in different brackets, obviously, but he got high score that last two weeks, so I'm not real optimistic.

kraftykraft
This week second half of our league SB. Right now, my team is done, I am up by 60 points (standard performance scoring pretty much) and my opponent still has the following guys to play: Drew Bledsoe Frank Gore Torry Holt So it could be interesting, but I have the advantage. Gunther
Up by nine points, I've survived the Tiki onslaught so far. He has Holt left. I have T. Jones and JAX D currently playing. J Jones and J Witten tonight. Steve Smith helped me as well as Tynes. And Crumpler who coughed up the ball for my opponent. And T Jones just rumbled for 35 yards.
