BiggieFries
IND had 3 TO's left and IND still could have won it with a TD. 1267342 True, but they would have had to drive the length of the field sans timeouts.
Bonehand
IND had 3 TO's left and IND still could have won it with a TD. 1267342 Still, had Pittsburgh burned all the clock they could before the snaps, Indy would have had what, 30 secs & no TO's? I still think it was a bad move.

Runner
Steelers 21 Colts 18 Steelers are the better team. Refs tried to GIVE Indy the game, but the correct outcome happened. Nothing is better than hearing all the media-types EATING CROW!!
Ursa Majoris
Why does everyone say this, WHOMEVER, wins? The Colts were the best team, by far all season, and played like donky dung today. Steelers the best team? Maybe today, but that's all. 1267340 It only matters today, that's why

Bonehand
there would be no clock to burn since the timeout stops the clock 1267377 You can't call timeout BEFORE PIT snaps the ball. On the first down where Bettis fumbled, there was 1:20 on the clock, with a full play clock for each down. C'mon Keggerz, get your head in the game! Chavez
there would be no clock to burn since the timeout stops the clock 1267377 Even assuming Indy gets the ball back with 50 seconds to a minute left, that's 70 or so yards to go against a defense that's been stopping them all day, no timeouts, needing a td to win. Like I said, Cowher's thought process differed and isn't unsound, but it almost ended in disaster today. I'd have made them burn the TOs and kicked the FG.
