Randall
I don't think so. So far Seattle looks like the superor team. We have a long way to go, but I think the Seahawks will prevail. If Smith is taken away what do they have?
isleseeya
I agree ...and it appears seattle has made a truly concious effort to take Smith out of this game and it is working so far ...This may get ugly quick
Grits and Shins
GASP ... you mean if you take Steve Smith out of the game Carolina falls a bit flat!!! Who would have thought?
isleseeya
Not a matter of trying to take him out of the game ..every team lately has been trying to ...its a matter of actually DOING it and GETTING it Done ...and so far Seattle has ... WaterMan
What does that say for how defenses are ranked, when the Bears couldn't stop him but it looks like Seattle might be able to?
Runner
I really don't think it's an upset that Pittsburgh beat Denver. Are you serious?
Randall
What does that say for how defenses are ranked, when the Bears couldn't stop him but it looks like Seattle might be able to? 1282223 Do you really think Chicago played well last week? Tillman was terrible I think and the scheme sure didn't seem to be a good one.
giantsfan
What does that say for how defenses are ranked, when the Bears couldn't stop him but it looks like Seattle might be able to? 1282223 To me it says the coaching staff of the Bears did a TERRIBLE job. Not only didn't they double Smith they didn't even have their best CB Vasher shadow him all over the field. I think the Bears went into the game saying we're the best and we won't change what we do for anyone. That kind of egotism and stuborness cost them a game. TERRIBLE coaching job by Lovie IMO.
